This revitalized excitement among fans, confirming the movie’s eventual comeback after many years. In August 2021, Rakesh Roshan, when asked by India Today, mentioned that ‘Krrish 4’ will definitely happen, but they were assessing the industry’s business standpoint. Due to ongoing industry challenges in covering production budgets, immediate plans were on hold, with potential consideration in a year or two once the business stabilizes.

Furthermore, Pinkvilla interviewed Rakesh Roshan, who stated that the script for ‘Krrish 4’ was magical, implying its readiness. He emphasized that a good script could guarantee a movie’s success, asserting that the movie’s story for ‘Krrish 4’ was perfect and would captivate the audience from the first 15 minutes.

Pre-Production Hints

Finally, by September 2023, reports surfaced about the pre-production work starting for ‘Krrish 4.’ While concepts, art, and shooting locations were being decided, the director of the film was rumored to be Karan Malhotra, known for directing ‘Agneepath.’

Regarding the storyline, it was revealed that while a double role was uncertain, time travel would likely be a significant aspect. This hinted at the return of characters like Priyanka Chopra’s Priya and the villain Doctor Arya, with a synopsis hinting at a quest involving time travel powers to stop a mega villain altering history.
